Hi all, hope you are having a great summer. A big thank you to the ladies that have been stopping in to help each month. We will be meeting the 4th Wednesday in October as usual but will not be meeting in November and December due to the holidays. W will meet on the 4th Saturday in January, February, and March (lunch is provided) as we gear up for the April gathering of the Gold Star Families. So mark your calendars. If you can't meet with us and want a quilt top to work on, give me a call.

No Workshop for May 2011
I will beon vacation the end of May. So there will not be a workshop. We will meet again the fourth Wednesday in June from 6:30 - 8:30. Enjoy the nice weather finally (hopefully) coming our way until I see you again.
Thanks ladies for helping out this past Wednesday. It was fun and we got quite a bit done for our two hours.

April 2011 Gold Star Gathering
Hi All,
A big thank you to all of you that helped in any way to make the 2011 Gold Star Family Gathering memorable. The quilts were awesome as usual. I want everyone who had any part in the making of the quilts to know they are a treasure and bring great comfort to those that receive them. The Gold Star Families thank you very much for your compassion and thoughfulness. There were 8 new families that attended this year. Many recieved a quilt. There were over 100 attendies. Hard to believe so many. Sad on many levels. I hope you can see the happiness in the pictures.

If you don't sew, come help sew, iron, cut..... We'll find something for you to do.
